Educational Youtube Channels for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Hello moms and dads!

Do you want to make your kids' screentime fun yet educational? Does your child gets easily bored with toys and would rather watch on the internet? Do you let your kid watch on Youtube so you can get through with the household chores? Well, you are not alone. Most parents do! 

Being a full-time mom is exhausting. With all the screaming and whining, we sometimes use screentime with my son for me to be able to clean the house and cook our lunch/dinner. 

Since we are nearly in preschool stage we have decided to limit the channels that my son is watching. (If you're using screentime as a babysitter for awhile, then might as well use it wisely. Right?) Nowadays, everything is in the internet. We, as parents should be vigilant and picky when it comes to what shows our kids are watching. 

Well, here's our list of Youtube Channels that are very wholesome and kid-friendly.

Kiddos World TV

This channel's goal is to provide high quality educational content for kids who are eager to learn more about the world. 

What I love about this channel is their flashcards type of video. I, too learn thru flashcards as a child and my son loves flashcards too. 

It's a good learning channel for kids. They have tracing videos, sea animals video, planets, and many more. They nurture children's curiosity in exploring the world learning about nature, science facts and wildlife habitat.

Songs for Littles by Ms. Rachel

Who doesn't know Ms. Rachel, right? Rachel Griffin Accurso is a passionate educator and award-winning songwriter. She has worked with children from 0-second grade and worked as a toddler teacher for children with disabilities. She believes all children are capable, brilliant and beautiful.

No wonder Ms. Rachel is so good with communicating with kids of any age. My toddler wasn't speaking so well when we first started to let him watch Ms. Rachel's videos. Now he can speak clearly and he imitates everything Ms. Rachel does in the video. It's like having a preschool teacher at home.

Boey Bear

 Safe, wholesome and happy learning. Boey Bear provides wholesome videos for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. They aim for the audience to have an enriching and educational screen time. And Boey Bear is a happy mixture of two. 

 Everyone likes bear right? And imagine having a bear to teach your child days of the week, how to cross the road, counting number, phonics, etc. We now have a personalised alphabet soup for my little one inspired by Boey.

They also provide printables for kids on their website for FREE.

Dr. Binocs Show (Peekaboo Kidz)

 This Channel is under Rajshri Entertainment and is now most popular in India. With their growing number of subscribers, videos are now dubbed in different languages. This channel is made for children ages 5 to 10. And it is presented by a floating creature called Dr. Binocs and his trusty inquisitive cat.

Does your child loves Science? Then this channel is perfect for your little one. My son is now fascinated with planets and Dr. Binocs has became his bestfriend.

Listener Kids

 It is a fun, educational platform for kids ages 0 to 6. They teaches Christian values creatively in a world where animals can sing, dance, and objects come to life. 

 It's like having a Sunday school at home VIRTUALLY. Do you want to teach your little one a values-based music? Then, I recommend you this channel. My son loves to sing along and dance with the modern version of classic Jesus Loves Me and many more.

Blippi

Blippi is an educational channel/live video program for toddlers and children up to the age of 5 years old. This show was created and the character is originally played by Stevin John. 

Blippi has been my son's playmate/babysitter for years (lol). He is a very likeable character on Youtube. He is fun and energetic. He is very easy on the eye of kids. He is communicating with kids as if he's actually playing with them. They also have a channel with different languages and sign language Blippi channel.

 Does your child loves listening to stories like The Very Hungry Caterpillar? This channel provides short stories on Youtube. Illuminated films is an award winning British animation studio with several successful series under its belt. 

Part of our bedtime routine is reading a story. Every child loves to listen to stories, right? But in this generation, it has to come with videos too. This channel has lots of them.
